TRON is an operating system based on blockchain. The goal is to ensure that the technology is suitable for daily use, while Bitcoin can support up to six transactions per second and Ethereum up to 25. TRON claims the network has a capacity of 2,000 TPS - 24/7

TRON has a total of over 100 billion tokens. And at the time of writing, it's in circulation is about $71.6 billion.

When the tokens were sold in 2017, 15.75 billion of TRX was allocated to private investors, while another 40 billion was allocated to initial coin offering participants. The Tron Foundation received 34 billion. million and the company owned by Justin Sun received 10 billion.

This means that 45% of the TRX supply goes to the founder and the project itself, while 55% is distributed to investors. Critics argue that this is a higher ratio than what has been seen in other cryptocurrency projects.

How secure is the TRON network?

TRON uses a mechanism known as the Prove your assigned stakeholder interest.

TRX owners can peg their cryptocurrency to earn Tron Power, meaning they can vote for it. "High-level agents" who can act as blog producers.

Producers of these blocks will receive TRX rewards in exchange for verifying transactions. These prizes will then be distributed to those who voted one more time.
